THE TERRITORY The Trentino region has the largest area covered in apple orchards in all of Italy. More than 50% of the apples produced in Italy annually are cultivated here, at the foot of the Italian Dolomites. Thanks to the fresh climate and the strong temperature variation between day and night, Trentino apples are some of the most sought-after apples in both Italian and international markets. Valentina apples are cultivated only in Trentino, where optimal conditions allow the production of high quality apples: genuine, crispy and always fresh. The Valentina apple production: - 400 hectares of orchards in Trentino; - 300 fruit growers; - 22 million kg annual production, which corresponds to 5% of the Trentino apple production and 1% of the national apple production. |
